Eating and Drinking

Please note that tea, coffee and lunch services have been suspended due to COVID-19

No eating or drinking (including bottled water) is permitted in the Library.  This rule is in place to protect books from damage and to avoid attracting vermin to the Library.  Please help us to preserve our invaluable collection by respecting this rule.

Drinking water is available from a fountain in Reception.

The Common Room is located in the basement and is open all day. A self-service Nespresso machine is provided; Nespresso pods may be purchased from Reception. You are also welcome to bring your own food or drink to eat in the Common Room.
