Iter Italicum is the electronic version of Paul Oskar Kristeller’s Iter Italicum: a finding list of uncatalogued or incompletely catalogued humanistic manuscripts of the Renaissance in Italian and other libraries (print ed., 6 vols 1963-92, available at RR 270B / NHN 25.A111k).
The electronic version was published as a CD-ROM in 1995. It is now available online via the Iter Gateway, which can be accessed from any computer within the Warburg Institute network. The Library retains a copy of the CD-ROM which may be used when the web version is inaccessible.
Getting started
From the Warburg Institute home page, click on the link ‘Library’ and then on the link ‘CD-ROMS and electronic resources’. Then scroll down the page and click on the link to ‘Iter Gateway’.
You should then see a screen headed: ‘Iter: What would you like to search? Welcome, Warburg Institute user.’ Click on the link ‘Iter Italicum’; this will take you to the Iter Italicum search screen.

Getting help
Clicking on the ‘Help’ link at the top right of the screen gives access to a set of detailed instructions about searching the database.
